Membership Registration Agreement

All members agree to the South Carolina Association of Pregnancy Care Center Purpose (SCAPCC).  
Article II – Purpose: SCAPCC is a Christ-centered, state-wide organization representing local pregnancy care centers as designated by their bylaws and governing boards of directors and is dedicated to promoting and assuring the sanctity of human life by offering direct support services to families, women, and babies. SCAPCC members must be in good standing with at least one of the following national organizations: CareNet, Heartbeat, and/or NIFLA, and adhere to their joint Commitment of Care and Competence Statement.

Our organization understands and agrees with the following:

New Member

• New Member is a Christ-centered pregnancy care center (PCC) in the State of South Carolina that agrees with the purpose statement in Article II, has successfully completed the SCAPCC application process, understands that membership is contingent upon Board approval, and is up to date on membership dues. 

• New members will pay the new member fee of $150 for the first-year membership. Upon annual renewal, membership criteria for PCC Membership will be applied.  

Renewal Member

• Renewing Members are Christ-centered pregnancy care centers (PCC) in the State of South Carolina that agree with the purpose statement in Article II, who have successfully completed the SCAPCC application process, who understand that continuing membership is contingent upon Board approval, and who are up to date on membership dues. 

• PCC Members may participate in SCAPCC meetings, retreats, training events, and communication. Organizations may be eligible to apply for grants, special funding, scholarships, or financial assistance when available through the South Carolina Association of Pregnancy Care Centers.
• Annual Dues for each voting member are determined by their previous year’s annual income. The formula will be $1 per each $1,000 of the annual income (ex: annual income $85,000 membership annual dues $85.00). The amount is capped at $500.00. 
• The annual membership dues are paid during a designated New Membership/Renewal campaign determined by the Board of Directors. Fees are due during the annual membership campaign time period

Associate Member (Pregnancy Care Centers in Development)

• Associate Members are Christ-centered pregnancy care centers (PCCs) located in the State of South Carolina that are actively working toward meeting the requirements for Full Membership as outlined in the SCAPCC Membership and State Funding Criteria.

• Associate Members agree with the purpose statement in Article II, who have successfully completed the SCAPCC application process, understand that membership is contingent upon Board approval, and that continuing membership is contingent upon being up to date on membership dues.  
• Associate Members may participate in SCAPCC meetings, retreats, training events, and communication. 
• Associate Members may receive technical assistance, training, and development support as available.
• As an Associate Members are not guaranteed eligibility for grants or special funding, unless specifically designated by the SCAPCC Board as part of a capacity-building initiative. 
• Annual dues for each Association Member will be $150.00, unless otherwise determined by the Board of Directors.
